The most awesome of all the Mayan ruins. Find out for yourself why the Mayan culture was the most advanced in the world. "Kukulcan Pyramid" has 4 sides x 91 steps and the one on top for a total of 365, another example of their astronomical mastery. And then in this same steps, when the equinox time come, you can see the Kukulcan snake getting down the stairs is amazing. Visit the "court" for the ball game where the winners only had a one game winning streak as they where then beheaded, to honor their gods. The first known calendar, more accurate than the one we use today was, you guessed it, made by the Mayans. Also the number 0 was created by them, another example of their mathematic knowledge. We will also make a stop at Gran Cenote, one of the most amazing of the sacred fresh-water caverns of the mayan region, where you can swim in it's cool, clear and cristalyne waters or just take unforgettable photo.
